Probably because the shooter was a slimy piece of **** and thought he was making a name for himself and finishing life by leaving some kind of legacy for people to remember him by.

I have a 6 year old son in elementary school, and my girlfriend has a 5 year old daughter in Kindergarten, so this definitely was shocking when we read the news this morning.
