Assign Template to Add-on

Perhaps I'm just silly, but I can't see a way to assign a template to an addon?

I've got debug mode enabled and I'd like to include a new template I create with my addon, so that I can export it as one.

Can anyone enlighten me please, as I must be missing something obvious .

Select the Master Style.

The add-on select field is at the bottom.
