Are you seeing the performance gains in 2.3?

I'm not. pretty upset to be honest as this was the main driver for me to upgrade.

this is a small thread view / article that i have been running on cloudflareweekly for benchmarks.
I installed today, 7/12. ignore the failure-- i was in the middle of other things - kicked it off a few times manually to get some results. all pretty similar to before figures.

This is a mobile view:

without a baseline, there's nothing to compare it too. it's 'good' but did it improve?

I'm running a very lightweight setup on centmin, nginx, redis, cloudflare caching, etc so it should fly, but it doesn't.

If you already have a very lightweight and optimized setup, there likely won't be a huge impact on your performance.

I am likely not upgrading until 3.x, so I haven't done any tests, but if I can find some time I'll try to see what it looks like on my test site.

These are my results after the upgrade. I am running some add-ons but most don't impact the front page. Anyone with experience in improving performance, can you please comment? I don't use any caching software so maybe that's it.

Pagespeed insights are showing up much better in 2.3 than before. My mobile version is at 63 now for an average thread page. Still not great, but I'm sure that's due to the ads that I run.

63 is much higher than I was seeing before which was usually in the 20s for mobile. Desktop is still in the 90s as it was before.
