Help please?
(I see that it is related to the Cloudflare add-on, so I updated to the latest version, but the issue remains.)
I have a "1" next to Approval Queue indicating a new user to be approved, but when I click on it there is nothing there, and the server error log reports the following:

  • ValueError: Template public:approval_item_user error: inet_pton(): Argument #1 ($ip) must not contain any null bytes

What happens if you disable said add on? Does the error go away or it still occurs?
Thank you ... I disabled it and the new user to be approved appeared in the queue, no error generated.
Any idea why it was not it was not showing the new registration request? This never happened before.

To be honest I've no idea because I am not familiar with that add on. Its developer can help you best with this.

Automated triage: Third party

Thank you for reporting this issue. The error comes from a filter added by the Cloudflare add-on, not from XenForo itself, and the queue displays correctly once that add-on is disabled. The add-on treats the stored IP address as text when it is in a binary format, so its developer will need to fix it.

This is an automated assessment. A member of staff may review and update it.
