XF 1.3 Anyway to manually add Meta Description to threads?

I know XF pulls meta description from the thread content, however we have a lot of threads that only contain images in the first post, and therefore rank poorly due to a lack of keywords in the description. Is there anyway for an admin to be able to manually go in and edit the description?

I don't want users to do it, but I would like to have the option to go through then, and enter the description.

The description won't affect your page rank. Page rank is a function of other highly ranked sites linking back to your site.

But the description can be edited for thread pages by editing this template:

Admin CP -> Appearance -> Templates -> thread_view

Look for <xen:description> near the top.
