Wow, I really like this one... I am learning tons just playing with my camera. How come when I change stuff like aperture the color changes?
Welcome to the world of photography! The other guys have pretty much covered the basics, the other thing I'd add is to just go out, have fun, and shoot a lot. Also I guess "expensive" is relative.Hey guys,
I am just getting into photography and I have an expensive camera with all kinds of functions and stuff. I like to photograph things close up. I have a few settings on the camera: M, S, A, P, a flower, SCN1 and SCN2. Which of these is best for close up photography? Anyone know a good website where I can learn the basics?
Thanks Allen!Great shots, DBA! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Regards,
Allen

I'm envious of that 400 2.8 even though my 300 2.8 is working just fine for me, hey bigger is always better right?Photography nut here with my latest family photo I blame @Kier for my addiction.

P (for Professional) is the one I always use.Never use Auto...
It can be a bit too big at times. I seldomly use it for first look/reveals, but other than that, it stays in the safe 98% of the time... However, when used... its magical.I'm envious of that 400 2.8 even though my 300 2.8 is working just fine for me, hey bigger is always better right?
