XF 1.3 Any way to lock an individual post so it cannot be edited by the poster?

I've just come across a situation where I wanted to moderate (edit) a post and stop the author from making any further changes but I can't seem to find a way of doing it.

Is this available in stock XF or has it been suggested already?

I believe it has been suggested.

The only options are to lock the thread or remove/time limit post editing.
