Any way to control what can be seen/changed in a user's account/profile/preferences?

I don't think it's a good idea to display every single options for them to change/seen in user profile/account/preferences/privacy,etc. Most of the user will find it too complicated for them. The more add-ons added the more options people will get..

The best way is to have a per-usrgroup control page in ACP where you can set which options to be displayed in user's settings pages.
