any suggestion on user roles management ?

Hey guys so I have been running my forum for 2 years now and it was kind of cool when I had few users and fewer spammers but right now I'm getting a lot of traffic /spammers and people who usually don't follow posting rules ...

Could there be any addon that would reject new members' posts if it contains a link ...?
just like how blackhatworld does it? or could there be an alternative to this?

Thanks ... so these are real people promoting the same affiliate network offers over and over... I just want to restrict the posting of links to new members ...

A friend hipped me to this, you might find it useful. I tested it with latest xF version, works 100 percent.

In spam phrases put:

/https?:|www\./i

And set "Maximum messages to check for spam" to whatever number above zero you want.

At: Setup>Options>Spam Management
