Any reason to not use a forum default email address with different domain?

I vaguely remember issues when a WP site had an email address with different domain?

I am using (postmark) SMTP

Is there any problems with the forum default email address being from a different domain? - maybe getting a higher chance of spam filtering???

If the links in the email body are different to the sender/return path in the email header, then it can be an indicator of spam and can affect deliverability.

Never use a generic mail provider (eg gmail / outlook / hotmail / etc) as your from address - guaranteed to have deliverability issues.

DKIM, SPF, and if you can DMARC.
