How can you tell what version of OSX is running on a mac while it's in recovery mode?
Can't you just click on utilities, open up terminal and then throw a command at it?
I told my friend to look at the serial number at the bottom of the mac. It was an older macbook so they can't upgrade to Mountain Lion with that Mac.
That's a PPC, so they can't upgrade past leopard. Snow Leopard and beyond require Intel processor and won't install on the Moterola PPC.
Separate names with a comma.
