Any considerations before updating PHP and MySQL?

Just wanted to gut-check whether or not I should keep anything in mind before updating PHP and MySQL on a server running the latest XenForo 2 release. Specifically, PHP 5.6 -> 7.2 and MySQL 5.6 -> 8.0. Thanks!

Just your plugins - but they should be fine if you're on XF 2 anyway.

Go all the way to PHP 7.3 and go for MariaDB 10.3 instead of MySQL 8.0.

XF is going to scream after you do these updates Make sure to install Opcache for PHP.
