Any addons for homepage?

Hi my forum is installed in a subdirectory website.com/community

Are there any addons or ways i can create an index homepage in the parent directory website.com/ that will pull posts from the forum?

This will create a page in the forum right? I need something to pull the data to the index page while my forum is kept in /community folder

You can read about page nodes there. You could use the add-on for the homepage look and set that as your homepage as well.

Ok cool, even though my homepage is outside of my forum directory?

Currently i have my forum in /community
The root folder for my site is empty apart from a html page with a URL for people to click and get to the forum.
I was wondering if anyone had a php file that would pull stuff and let people access the forum.

You will need a custom solution to display XF content on an external page.

You could try using RSS feeds as a quick and easy option.

You can create a redirect script in index.php on the root folder. In that case you need to remove the index.html page on root.
