Animated (.gif) Favicon

Hey guys, any ideas how i can replace my XenForo default favicon with an animated one? .gif

Firefox and probably most other browsers are quite happy to accept a gif as a favicon, yes.

Thankfully they aren't very common. I personally find them as annoying as unsolicited sounds, except when used appropriately (such as for alerts).

It only works in Firefox. Other browsers display, but don't animate it.

Because they don't support animated .gif images as favicons.

Hi. I also would like to add a favicon (non animated) but i have no clue how to do that

Create an animated favicon and upload it to your web root and/or the styles/default/xenforo directory, overwriting the existing favicon.ico file.
