Amazon affiliate ads on sites that use https?

I'm hoping someone here can tell me how to use Amazon affiliate ads on a site that uses https (my forum).

Their FAQ says:

Can I show Amazon CPM Ads ads on https (secure) pages?
Yes. Amazon CPM Ads supports ad serving on https (secure) pages. Make sure you use a passback ad code that is https compliant.

I have no idea what passback ad code is and doing a Google search wasn't helpful at all. Amazon offers either an iframe ad or a javascript ad, and if you just paste them into a template or a widget you will get a broken lock symbol and a warning that the page isn't secure.

Can someone please tell me how to use Amazon affiliate ads on sites that use https?

I discovered that the issue with Amazon ads is with the images shown within their ads, the ad code is ok but the images aren't. This is from their support forums https://engagedforums.com/discussions/Amazoncom_Associates/_/_/am-associhelp/48007.1
