XF 1.2 Allowing thread creating only for specific usergroups

Hello, question is inside the title.
How can I set up a forum node that everyone can see but just a specific (cosmetic/ upgrade) usergroup is allowed to create new threads there? I only find options to disable creating threads for some usergroups, but that will disable this option for all usergroups....

Edit the node permissions to revoke and allow group's access to post new threads.
