MG 2.3 Allowing .JSON File Uploads in Media/Gallery Forums?

Is there an addon or a setting that would allow other file types, like .json files, to be uploaded to the Media/Gallery forum alongside images? I'd like to make .json uploads possible. Any suggestions?

I was looking to create a section where my users can share configuration or setting files, and posting them in the forum doesn't look as appealing as it would in the gallery. The gallery format allows users to attach an image showing how the configuration or data file looks in action, which makes it much more visually engaging, that basically was my idea

Yeah, I was trying to find a way or some ideas that don't involve giving them access to that section
