XF 1.5 Alias a BBCode parameter

Specifically, the numeric parameter used in the size code. The reason for this is that my forum was converted from MyBB 1.8, which uses human-readable parameter such as x-small rather than arbitrary numeric parameters, and members are complaining that the old parameters no longer work.

Are they complaining that they no longer work as in things they had posted before are now not parsing correctly as far as size goes....or are they complaining that they are manually typing in "x-small" and that it is no longer working for them like it did in MyBB?

Both. Converted posts no longer work correctly, and using the old parameters doesn't work.

The existing ones could be converted using this addon if that was the only issue.

Since size is a standard built-in bbcode for xf and built within php files and not something that is editable within the admin interface to have an alias you would need custom development to modify the way a default bbcode works.

Short of that you could make custom bbcodes that would account for each individually with only a minimal change to the format and the same outcome for the end user.
