Alert member of possible rule breach while writing post (AI)

Often members are not aware that they are breaching a rule. People are not used to reading terms and rules. And they get a warning when they breach a rule. This is an unfriendly approach leading to conflict. I think it would be much more friendly and constructive to make members aware before they breach a rule.

It would be helpful and friendly to make members aware when they are about to breach a rule. An AI agent / function could analyze the text the member writes and if there is a possible rule breach, then display a friendly notice that the post may breach a specific rule. Display the specific rule that may be breached. Ask the member to review the rule and make sure the post is not in breach with it.

Meta do this too much and it's actually goes too far.
So a hard no. Because it will only make the situation worse.
Nobody likes warnings on everything they post. It will cause people to leave.

This suggestion does not request warning labels on posts. The suggestion is just to make members aware of any rule that may be breached. i.e. when they are writing a post show relevant community rules.

You don't need this.
I can imagine people having a discussion about a topic and then leaving because you've given them a breach warning via AI.
No thanks.
It happens on threads and i usually tell meta to stop farting about with them

Some of us are aussies and have to put up with AI ringing us up on our phones and record our voices.
So really stop using AI it's illegal and it is being deliberately misused by criminals around the world.
We've already had data breaches due to AI gaining access to personal details of various customers of various companies.

A big problem is that AI text detection is very inaccurate. Even OpenAI could not figure it out. Schools have mostly failed to make it work and given up on the technology.

The fact that you are online posting here suggests you are probably using AI multiple times everyday without realizing it.

While I'm dead against AI produced content of any type, AI prompts for content improvement is a more welcoming and like it or not, an inevitability.
Generalisation much?

Not everyone likes using all those garbage AI Slop crap.

Nobody likes AI.
Sadly many do.
Everyone uses it...
I try to avoid it

I think there’s a difference between intentionally using ai and it being unavoidably part of everyday online activities.

I really appreciate its value for certain things such medicine, but I do not appreciate the huge environmental costs.
