If technically possible, I think this would be good.
I was viewing a video and while still playing I rated the media but after I sent my rating the page reloaded and the video got reset! Now you're probably going to say: how do you rate a video that you haven't finished viewing yet? Well music videos are usually repetitive: the first 2 minutes is the intro with the chorus then the next 2 final minutes are the same thing, the intro and the chorus.
