AI Summary Generation

AI Summary Generation [Paid] 1.0.5

No permission to buy ($50.00)
We've put some time into this idea and it seems a cronjob for a busy community will use a lot of resources - as the system will be monitoring the entire forum - generating a summary for every single post that meets the criteria. Let's continue to discuss it here...
You don't remember this that you already quoted?

"Future thoughts/plans on having a cron entry for automated generation, via existing criteria (nodes and rate limiting) but also adding criteria (for automated generation) such as minimum posts, min/max days since creation, and xx days/posts since generation for regeneration?"

Thank you. Waiting on a response from the programmer.

This is really interesting addon and I would be interested in purchasing but I'm specifically interested from an SEO meta title and meta description position - this can really make a difference. I'm not interested in showing an AI summary to users, but in the background I'd like something that runs, probably once a day on new or updated threads in specified forums and then creates a SEO meta title, description and adds appropriate tags. I could easily edit the prompt to have the AI focus on creating an SEO optimised response, but this addon would then need to add an SEO meta title and description per thread.

Is this something you'd be able to do, as if so I'd purchase this addon

Thank you. We're working on improvements behind the scenes - but the SEO items won't likely fall into this add on. As time allows, we're working on something else relating to SEO - and you will want that.

📝 Summary:

The forum discussion revolves around finding the best cell phone mount for the Kia Telluride, with users sharing their experiences and recommendations. The original poster #1 sought a custom mount between the center LCD and instrument cluster, avoiding generic vent or cupholder mounts. Several solutions were proposed, including vent mounts #2, ProClip mounts #4#6, suction cup mounts #5, and custom-fabricated mounts #9#40. Magnetic mounts are popular #29#30#33, but the metal plate needed can interfere with wireless charging #35. Some users created custom solutions using aluminum flat stock #9, while others shared links to Amazon products #17#28. Concerns were raised about blocking controls #3 like the emergency flasher button #4 and about distracted driving #42. Newer solutions like the infotainment screen organizer #61 are being explored #62, and flexible adhesive bases are mentioned for mounting #55. Recently, a new phone holder has been tested and found to fit well without obscuring the screen #68#69.

TL;DR:
✅ Many Telluride owners seek phone mount solutions that avoid generic vent or cupholder options.
✅ Custom mounts and modifications are common due to limited commercial options that fit specific preferences.
✅ The discussion highlights trade-offs between mount location, functionality wireless charging, and potential obstruction of car controls.

🔎 Key Insights:
Insight 1: A major challenge is finding a mount that doesn't block buttons or displays, while keeping the phone in the driver's line of sight.
Insight 2: Magnetic mounts are popular but often require metal plates that interfere with wireless charging capabilities.

🎯 Conclusion:
Finding the ideal phone mount for a Telluride is highly subjective, with users prioritizing different factors such as location, functionality, aesthetics, and ease of installation. Custom solutions are often necessary to meet specific needs.

Q: is it possible to manually add an image gallery as shown above ?

It looks like the Summary Area is an .html block ? (It doesn't look like a BBCode Page editor, nor does the summary have Likes, etc.)

What about releasing a manual summary addon ?
It will only work until Xenforo 2.4 (TipTap) comes.

Maybe markdown would be a better format ?

TipTap should be quite good with markdown.

I have mentioned this to "the man" (the coder :p)... If there would be enough support for it, I don't see why he wouldn't take the time to create it. We're a little surprised the AI Generated Summary app didn't get any traction being that it's a feature available basically everywhere else.

But, again, we'll be including that feature in an add-on that more people should find interesting and useful.

I'm considering how I can increase my forum's chances of being picked up by new AI search engines. One idea I have is to add a summary at the top of each older topic on my forum, starting with a summarizing question followed by the concise answer. This summary would be based on all the information discussed in the topic. I would also use AI myself to generate these summary questions and answers. I’m curious if anyone has already developed something like this for XenForo, and I'd love to hear what other users think about this approach.

Thanks for your feedback!

FYI

Thank you for referring to my question. I find this a very interesting addon. But mainly from the perspective of making my forum more suitable for inclusion in AI references. I would therefore like to make this especially available for guests. Do you think this will cause SEO problems when you also make it available to guests?
