After spending a lot of time with AI in general and tons of different AI tools over the past years, I felt there was a need for a forum to discuss AI in a beginner-friendly way. In short, how to use AI but also how to create better AI tools.

My aim: A forum that goes beyond just news, prompts, or AI-generated images—a space for deeper, open discussions (and without unnecessary politicization like on Reddit).

Since 2022, I’ve worked with AI full-time and seen or encountered myself with countless common questions I want to help answer. Instead of a static website, I thought maybe a forum would be a good platform. Creating a Wordpress content site just feels 2015... A forum creates much more open and up-to-date content.

The content creation process in underway...

Some notes about my Xenforo setup:
  • Standard XF style, but with modified colors and fonts. I usually install custom styles, but that created a lot of problems with upgrades I've noticed. So this time I will try the default style, think it looks pretty custom anyway.
  • Mostly background extension like Cloudflare & Better Analytics. Managed to get a pretty good 90/100 score on https://pagespeed.web.dev/
  • Changed the font and lots of font settings. Check it out, it feels different. Much better readability I think.
  • Spent a lot of time improving the front page experience.

Looks cool! Best of luck with it. It's a high ranked keyword so organic growth shouldn't be a problem.
 
Looks good. Easy to read . Not too sure about the teal/green black theme but overall it looks good! I hope you have great success with your community!

  • This is a great idea. A dedicated, beginner-friendly AI forum without all the noise from other platforms is definitely needed. The space feels underserved. Good luck!

looks like a solid idea honestly. a beginner-friendly space without hype, politics, or prompt spam is very needed right now. i like the focus on real discussion and learning, not just outputs. the forum format makes sense for evolving topics, and xenforo is a good choice for long-term quality conversations. curious to see how the discussions grow once more people join
