When we develop new code, we always work on the latest version of xenforo. We can't test the addon on older versions for obvious reasons. Technically, the addon is compatible with all 2.3.x versions. You can install the free version and test it, but I think you're safe.Is version 1.9.8 compatible with XF 2.3.6?
Installed this morning, upgraded to pro. 662,000 unique visitors today, so far.
Statistics > Traffic: Devices shows 627k desktop, 30k mobile, 5k tablet....I assume that means the bots are all desktop traffic.

These options in the addon settings must be enabled.I have the "statistics" link added to the Members menubar, the Widget causes a 2-3 minute delay in the page load for anyone that can view it (which is set to Admin only, Ie: me)
Current screenshot of the Overview stats. Unsure why there are Zero threats blocked. The Online number is commonly 50k, and has peaked over 100k.
BTW: readers help a ton with viewing this....I'm old...

Until now the add-on told you what it decided. This release tells you why.
Every visitor gets a trust score, but a number on its own explains nothing. An admin looking at "40% trust" had no way to know whether that came from a forged browser signature, a datacenter IP, or an abnormal request rate. Version 1.9.9 opens that black box — and adds two panels that answer the two questions I get asked most often: is my configuration actually correct? and what am I missing...
This release started as an interface clean-up and turned into something more interesting: while testing it on a live board, the add-on caught itself counting things that were never visitors at all. Fixing that changed what the numbers mean — for the better, and you should read the upgrade note before you update.
Until now, every request was counted, including images fetched directly from outside your forum. If one of...
Read this first: your visitor count will go down
A smaller release than the last one, focused on the panel you keep open the longest. The Live Radar has been rebuilt from the ground up, it can now refresh itself, and two tracking bugs that were quietly distorting your own numbers have been fixed.
The table is gone. Each access is now a card with a coloured edge that tells you its classification at a glance — dark red for blocked, orange for suspicious, teal for verified crawlers, green for...
The Live Radar, rebuilt
On the Live Traffic page, if I see a Bad Bot and click it to Ban it, I don't get the popup anymore. Firefox and Edge.
ETA: sorry, I think it's the new style I uploaded. It works okay in Default style.

Hi,
A single fix, reported by a user and worth releasing on its own.
Whitelisted IP addresses were exempt from the trust scoring and were never blocked — that part always worked. But the intrusion log recorded them anyway, so an address you had explicitly trusted could still show up in the Intrusion Attempts panel, listed among the attackers.
If this happened to your own administrative address, the add-on looked like it was ignoring your whitelist entirely. It wasn't: your access was never...
