It freezes when people post, I guess when it updates

Also when the forum is made smaller the format gets compressed and messed up.

I'll just leave these right here for anyone who feels the same as me on the images. These are the ones I made, and here's my PSD's so you can modify to what you need. Just replace the old files and then refresh (sometimes you need to clear your cache before they'll show up). I don't need 50 so I cut mine off at 25.

Still very resource heavy, no way to make this execute less number of queries?

It's a fairly resource heavy process in general; there's a lot of information that needs to be sorted to get the necessary data. IMHO the best "solution" is to heavily cache the results for a period of time (15 minutes+) so those queries are not run on each page load.

To be fair, I think a 10 day update cycle for an add on is pretty quick.

I would agree simbolo, only if it were the case when the addon we're talking about is cleared from it's bugs and kinks that makes it impossible to work on productive sites. My site was lagging so much that I had to turn off the addon as well as the conflicts between other addons which were reported.

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for this free addon and the author spending time to maintain it. I'd like to thank him for trying to make it better with every update.

The add-on does not exclude forums put in the "Exclude Forum" section.
I still get entries listed from forums I want removed.
