Its possible to copy a form.
But how about questions? Sometimes in form, we have set lots of things, and we want to 10 questions like that, with just different title.
Now we should create 10 questions and set all the same things for them.
But it would be really easy if it was possible to duplicate a question, just like forms.

If its possible, then appreciated if you say how I can do that.

And one another question: when I set a question as "None - This is a Header Phrase", where its description will be shown? I see nowhere.

When you copy a form, all of the questions for that form are copied at the same time.

The 'None - This is a header phrase' type is shown on the form as a section divider like the contact information and other information in this screenshot...


There is no description shown for that type.

How can I copy question number 1 in that form 19 times?

That's what the Default Questions are for, so you only have to enter them once. Edit the Default Question set.

Then when creating your form, click 'Insert Default Questions'.

'Insert Default Questions' can help a lot.
But again I can't get my goal by that. (maybe I can't say clearly what I mean)
Hope the copy button to be added to questions one day.

As stated where you enter an error for the question...


If you do not include an error, the question will be optional and the member will not be required to answer it.

I activated both report by PC and new Thread.
Then attached 3 files in form.
The result:

• Attachments were shown in thread
• But not shown in PC

How can I activate showing attachments in PC when the report is set to PC?
(Normally users can upload files in PC. But I don't know why AAF doesn't show attachments of forms in PC)

You can have uploads posted in one or the other, not both.

This ability is in the next release. It is not in the current release.

This can be done, and the safest way is to create a user that does all of the posting of forms (ie: 'Application System'). Make sure that user has post permissions for the hidden forum and set the user ID as the user that posts the forms in the report options.

It can usually also be done through permissions, but people tend to get paranoid if they see a user that doesn't have access to post in a hidden forum. So the special user is usually used.

Thank you for reply , so all I needed to do is creating a user with permission to create topic in private area. Then I will write that username to the add-on and add-on will use his name to create a topic ?

You would enter the User ID (the user number), not the user name. And that user would be used to create the thread.

Enabling the WYSIWYG editor for answers has not even been considered and I'm not even sure why it would be needed.

Regarding my idea a list with multiple links, with more info each, example:

- Color :
- Size:

(multiple times)

it would be much faster for someone to paste a group of text (links, or whatever) into a single box than it would be to click 'Add more' and paste one line at a time.

Hello Snog, I'm still testing with the best way to make my lists. and I think users could copy-paste something like:

- Color :
- Size:
2)-----------------------------------------

- Color :
- Size:
-------------------------------------------
[etc, etc...]

and fill the info the box. on that case the editor would be useful.

I understand that this can not be requested before, so, I'll keep testing to find out the best way to make that lists. anyway on this cases the editor could be useful.

Rafass, what you're trying to do is far beyond the capabilities of the forms system. We've discussed this via PC on my site.

What you're looking for is something that is more like a cross between a shopping cart and a printed form.

The best thing I can suggest is to create a form with multiple items (say 10 items) make the first one required and all the others optional. If someone wants to inquire about more items than one form can handle, then have them fill out another form.

I'm facing an issue. (upload button missing)
Steps to reproduce:
1. go to "edit default questions" and include there the option: "file upload"

Click on edit application form -> + add application form
After create the new form click on "edit questions" -> +insert default questions

Click that button 3 or 5 times. (it will insert the default questions each time you click on it). Save.
look the form and there are not the "upload file" button. is empty.
If you try to add that button that will not possible anymore, even deleting the form, creating another new form and adding questions manually, you will lose the upload button after reproduce that steps. it can not be added even in new forms.

You can't have more than one upload button on a form. It's not possible. The are restrictions in HTTP and javascript that do not allow it.

Hello,

The error is being generated because one of the users you have defined for your form does not exist.

Check the Report Options and be sure the Private Conversation User ID exists on your site.

And check the Poll Options and be sure the Tie PC Recipient User ID exists on your site.
