XF 2.1 Adsense code

Plz I need your help I have this below adsense code but when I paste it and save give error. My version is 2.1.9

Ok I just disabled Wordfence and it seemed to work. I tried to white list scanning the folder but didn’t work. Guessing I need to figure out how to stop it from protecting this folder. Thnx I got some progress finally

Dashboard >> Wordfence

Scroll down to General Options

Then scroll down to "Scan files outside your WordPress installation" and uncheck that box.
