XF 1.4 Addon Development Docs?

Developer friend of mine wants to code an addon.

Is there any documentation I can show him, to guide him through the XF code or addon dev procedure?

There is comments in the code throughout the files in XF. Pretty good explanations of what every thing is doing. Might be worth adding him to your license in your customer account so he can ask any specific questions he may have.

Also the development area is a good place to look and get help.
