XF 2.0 Adding the right sidebar to all pages

How can I add a right sidebar to all pages?

Go to your widget of choice, click on it's name and play with the positions there. Or use the position "Public Sidebar: Top / Bottom".

I did find the widgets area, which for me was an accomplishment. The problem is I need to add the sidebar to be used for ads. I don't see the various ad templates.

If you still need help with this,

setup > advertising > add advertisement > then simply click on position and find "container sidebar". Pick the appropriate side bar position (either above or below) and add your ad code in the box. Voila!

Also any area where a side bar should be I think this will work in as well. Not completely sure if it's reserved for the forum area or not as I have never tried it. Though the page would need to have a side bar for it took work (even if it's not the forum page)
