XF 1.5 Adding Styling Before Username (No Image - Only CSS)

I have a background image before staff members username, currently looks like this:
Untitled-1.webp

Since they are images, on mobiles and such it looks blurry. I want to use pure CSS styling, thanks to a modification by @Shelley I have a CSS "New" suffix on my node tabs, the CSS for that is:
Code:
.nodeList > .node > .unread > .nodeText .nodeTitle:after { background-color: #be4f4f; border: 1px solid #902b2b; content: "NEW"; color: white; border-radius: 2px; margin-left: 5px; padding: 0 5px; font-size: 9px; }

Is there any way I can target the username "before" for achieving what I want?
