XF 1.3 Addin a link Problem

Are you using the rich editor's "link" button? You need to type text into the editor, select it, then click the "link" button. It will only hyperlink the text you have selected.


Yes this is the way I am doing it. I also notice I get the same effect if using any of the other format options at times. The way I normally would add a link is I type in the text for the link highlight it and then use the add link option at the top of the post box and drop the link into the option provided.

Are you using chrome? I was having that same problem but not with FF. Finally what I did was insert the links only after I have finished typing and just highlight the word/s I want linked.
