I've had several users ask if we could have .webm video attachments. With this format getting a little more widely used (and interesting tools like this coming out) I would like to be able to let my users upload and attach .webm (and .mp4 i guess?) videos inside posts, specifically with the features of:
- Graceful "your browser sucks" failover notification for unsupported browsers
- Not allowing auto-play
- Specifying max width/height of in-line videos
- Limiting number of embedded videos per post
- Ability to hotlink, in addition to upload
