So when I pull up a user card I want to be able to ignore someone right there... seems like a logical addition

Is it possible that a forum could have "Too Much" ignoring going on ?
Just wondering about people's experience with Ignore.
Is it possible to request someone ignore you ?
Could I PM Forsaken with a link like this and he could just click it ?

No, see my post above. /members/username.id/ignore doesn't exists. Ignoring is done via a POST request to xenforo.com/community/account/ignore.Is it possible that a forum could have "Too Much" ignoring going on ?

I'm not quite sure where the idea of promoting a negative experience comes from, that seems like a leap for me. I'm talking about pure usability here. With social interactions also comes the flip side, sometimes you don't want to see what someone posts or feels it's offensive. Well, let's make it easier for the user to ignore that user.
I don't want a link in every single post, that's overkill. I think Report is perfectly fine for any issue that needs to be handled for negative postings. But if someone is starting an argument with you in a thread and you don't want to read anymore of that users posts, then having it in the membercard makes it much easier to do so.
