I have two suggestions, but though to do them separately to avoid confusion.
Like many portal software it would be awesome if Xenforo had the ability to receive and delivery email to/from external addresses versus just registered members. This has a good value to a lot of people, especially if they are calling your site 'home.' It's a base line functionality of many different portals, but is it something possible to have happen within XF?
