When browsing through profile posts, especially in the whats-new page, there's often threads that go on for a long number of posts

The problem is it's often hard to realise this as there's no context in the feed that the last few visible replies come after high single figure, dozens or even hundreds or thousands of previous posts.

Instead of a generic 'View previous comments...' with zero other context, please show a 'View x more comments' link or at least provide context of how many other comments remain somewhere.

Existing implementation: No idea of how many previous comments there are (there's 5, in case you were wondering)

An example where you can see a link to view more comments, but also understand how many comments there are to view

An example where there's a decent number of additional comments to view, and the link shows the entire lot, but the link and the context aren't in line, which seems odd.

Anyway, the lesson is, please keep us in the loop so we know where we are in the grand scheme of things in terms of comment numbers/amounts and what remains to be loaded to make sure you're in the loop before arguing vehemently with someone on the internet. Thanks :)
