AdBlock and xenforo

Just a heads up, had a user report he could not post in a particular thread on my board, turns out it was AdBlock causing an issue, it's very rare but causes the reply button to not work throughout the whole thread.

I didn't believe him until I saw it for myself when using chrome, it was just one thread and a few of his pm's affected.

I know quite a lot of people use this thing...

You could resolve this temporarily by hiding ads from logged in members by using conditionals. I do not understand how an ad block could be causing this but hiding the block from those who have permissions to reply should resolve this for you.

It's blocked because of the URLs. There is really nothing XenForo can do to prevent this.

I don't have ad's on my forum so it took me ages to figure out what was causing this, seems a right pain then.

What is it about XenForo's URL structure that triggers an AdBlock filter?

The word "ad" or "advertisement" in a url can trigger ad block software.
