I have i problem when I add the openx code as it breaks the post reply box.

no worries, I used an iframe code and it now works.

Maybe it adds some floating element? In that case simply wrap it in div with overflow:hidden, like this

<div style="overflow:hidden;"> ad code </div>

I installed the addon-Waindigo_KeywordReplace but I can't understand how it works and if it is what I'm looking for.
Any suggestions (sorry, I've asked this before) but I sure would appreciate any add-on that does this well.

Its effective if you can limit the times it replaces a word in a thread so it doesn't turn your forum posts into an over run keyword ad system.
