XF 1.1 Account upgrades: how to set pay pal language to english

We are using the build in account upgrade functionality to receive donations via paypal from our members.

However the receiving paypal account belongs to my fellow admin who lives in Spain. Therefore the PayPal page shows up in Spanish even though we set the language to English.

Is there a way to change this?

These are the instructions I once wrote for an old 1.0 beta release. It might be different for 1.1 But it should get you started. I am too busy at the moment to double check this .. I hope it helps.
