XF 1.4 About the URL...

I just purchased a license and am planning to install it in a secondary domain that I own so I can practice with the database importing, mods, etc, before I do the final install. I will also be having some moderators beta-testing the features, etc. We're talking 30 days, max.

I want to make sure I don't step on any toes. I am planning on inputting the URL of my "real" install in the registration document. Is this ok?

Use the URL it is currently installed at, you can change it later.
