XF 1.5 Ability to restrict forum access on forum creation?

Hello everyone,

I've created all the usergroups I need for my forum and was about to add the private forum sections and I noticed from what I've seen so far, I'd have to go into each usergroup idividually and grant or revoke access to view a specific forum.

Would it be possible to set it up that when creating different forum sections you can pick the usergroups you want to have access to that forum to just pick them from a drop down menu, save it and the job is done?

Something like
All
Administrator
Moderator
etc.

I find it quite time consuming doing it for each group especially having a lot of user groups.

There are two ways of setting a forum "private".

1. Set the node as private
2. Allow the 'View node' permission for the desired user group(s) or user(s).

or

1. Revoke the 'View node' permission for the Registered user group
2. Allow the 'View node' permission for the desired user group(s) or user(s).
