5 different usernames with SAME IP's how sure can I be they are the same.

Hello,

Since some time I monitored 4 - 5 different users on my forum. When I make the shared IP check the same IP shows up for these users. However, also 2 other IPS show up on each user profile which don't match.

Not sure if someone here understand what I mean. But since the same IP (shows up) match on all 5 usernames then would you say it is one and the sam user?

How sure can I be of it? Couldn't these users not just have used a VPN/VPS which they share and what would you do in this situation.

Check what the IP address resolves to: https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup

That will tell you whether it's a proxy, etc.

I already did so, it resolves to a Swedish IP address.

ISP:	ServerAstra Kft.
Organization:	ServerAstra Kft.

It says confirmed Proxy server, TOR exit node.

ahh, that means I can't trace it at all or what would you say and do?

I suggest using this add-on to see if the user-agent is also the same:

If the IP and user-agent is the same, either they're all sharing the same computer, or someone has multiple accounts.

If the IP and user-agent is the same, either they're all sharing the same computer, or someone has multiple accounts.

If you have people on a shared network (such as a university, for example) that use the same browser on the same OS they'll also match
