300 x 250 logo left + 300 x 250 ad unit right - and ALL nav bar stuff in-between?

I want to try to put all the nav bar stuff between the logo and a 300 x 250 ad banner

the idea is to have the content closer to the top - with less scrolling

Has anyone seen a central "nav square" rather than a long nav bar?

Can you point me to examples please?

Thoughts on this idea?

I don't like that idea, but here is a start:

You can override the margins on the nav row (bigger margin will squeeze it towards the center). But it likely won't be that simple. This will require lots of CSS tweaking. You probably need a style author to implement this.
