Hello, all.
I need 2 installs of Xenforo to share the same users and stats, but nothing else. I am sure you will have presumed why already, but, for the interest of clarity, I manage a fan forum for a gaming company and they're releasing a new game and they have asked me to open a new forum, but they're really keen on both forums having the same users, login credentials and stats.
I know they're a few add-ons that are doing this, on the face of it, but they just don't do what I want.
I was wondering, if I applied a different MySQL table prefixes to the each instance of Xenforo, but left the user and stats tables without prefixes, would that be possible? If so, how would I then change these inside Xenforo.
Forgive me if I sound like a noob - I am - but I am really keen on learning how to do this, and I appreciate any insight and assistance anyone can give me.
