XF 1.5 1.5.21: accept cookie policy triggers error

We have just upgraded to XF 1.5.21, and everything went fine on our test server (an exact mirror of our live site).

Clicking the 'Accept' button (the dismiss-notice?notice_id=-1 link) in order to consent to the cookie policy on our live site however triggers the following error:

"You must be logged in to do that."

What could be the reason for that? Have we overlooked something obvious?

Did you happen to test on a unmodified default style with all addons disabled?

Yes, it occurs on the default style, too.

Also, our test server and our production site share the same permissions, styles, and add-ons.

It seems the issue has resolved itself.
