I think it was due to the Russia / Ukraine stuff. Not ideal for businesses as he is losing potentially thousands per month but he has free choice to do as he pleases. As per racism, i would assume its more nationalism, which is not racism.
In any situation you need to remain human
He has no right to revoke people's licenses, hack their forums through his add-ons. I know a lot about him. I personally lost more than $500

Never comfortable with serious accusations like racist and thief, made about people on platforms they can't answer back on. It's poor form IMO.

He is white and fluffy here, and I knew him before he appeared on this forum.
As a developer he is good. As a person - questionable.

This addon has worked impeccably on our platform. I created a D&D room with OpenAI as a DM and it worked, a few tweaks here and there but the product was really good. From what I can see on TAZ people are leaving XF or moving on because of changes and lack of support.
I've just extended my licence but with all the 3rd party addons it's getting more expensive to run and quite time consuming to keep updating. I used FA icons which needed to be re coded to xf's new style>
TL;DR I wish it was more backwards compatible with each upgrade.

He made it clear how he felt about XF when he stopped development last time in his "Goodbye, XenForo!" thread and in his recent thread about leaving Ukraine he refers to XF (and vB) as "outdated forum engines".
As somebody who made donations before he stopped development and was using the add-ons on my forums, I'd want to hear it from him what his commitment is this time to XF before sending any more money.

I don't know what happened here but I hired him after he quit xenforo.com all I can say is. He does great work, he's reasonably priced as a developer and going forward there is a commitment to his clients.

It's great to see that the add-ons were updated and are doing great for your community but if you're going to make posts "on behalf of the author" (along with promoting them with links in your sig) then you should be aware of their past history with the XF customer base and be cognizant that there is, at the moment, no indication as to why anybody else should take another chance with them.
If there is a newfound "commitment to his clients" then, hey, call me crazy, but maybe that should include addressing prior ones.

We have a brilliant young man that has been displaced by a war. People can make bad choices and make mistakes. It's how you fix the mistakes are what is important to me.
I guess I'm more of an optimist and tend to give people the benefit of doubt without judgment. What I see is positive and will help anyway I can.

As PHP matures, changes are required. It's not Xenforo's fault, but at least they are updating to be current. The FA changes on our end, as a customer, were minimal.
