XenCustomize Testimonials 2.3.1 is here!
This update brings a fantastic new feature that allows you to Convert Posts to Testimonials directly from thread posts. Admins and moderators can now easily repurpose user content into testimonials, complete with customizable options like destination category, title, rating, and testimonial state. Additionally, when a post is converted, a new post message template is applied, giving the thread a cohesive look with a snippet of the testimonial, a link to the full review, and a category link for related testimonials.

We’ve also introduced the [testimonial_view] BB Code, which automatically formats testimonials for a consistent and professional display, ensuring the converted posts visually match the actual testimonials in your Testimonials section. Plus, we’ve improved the responsive design of the Review Top Aligned Grid layout for a smoother experience across all devices.

XenCustomize Testimonials 2.3.0 is here! This update brings full compatibility with XenForo 2.3.x!
This version takes advantage of XenForo 2.3's new features, including image optimization. Testimonial images now benefit from native image optimization, improving performance and user experience. Plus, you can rebuild existing testimonial images for optimization via Tools > Rebuild caches > Optimize testimonial images.

Additionally, we've added support for the webp file format, expanding the options for testimonial images and ensuring modern compatibility.

Note: This version requires XenForo 2.3.0 or higher. Update today and enjoy these improvements!

XenCustomize Testimonials 2.2.4 is here! This update brings enhanced category customization options, allowing you to define Open Graph titles, meta titles, and meta descriptions for better SEO and social media sharing.

You can also now choose from five distinct testimonial types—Testimonial, Feedback, Review, Experience, and Recommendation—for each category, offering more flexibility in how testimonials are displayed.

Additionally, a new permission has been introduced to control how long users can edit or delete their own testimonials.

We’ve also enhanced the carousel widget for better alignment and consistency. A new admin option lets you choose a fallback image (either the author’s avatar or a default image) when no custom testimonial image is available.

We’ve also added some new style properties for more customization and fixed a couple of bugs to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We started using the Testimonials 2.2.x on our XF 2.2 powered support forum for showcasing our client reviews and testimonials.

XenCustomize Testimonials 2.2.1 is now available! This update brings a useful feature, allowing admins and moderators to reassign testimonial ownership. With this enhancement, managing testimonials becomes more flexible, especially useful for administrators who want to post testimonials on behalf of users or import reviews from other sources.

This is a permission-based feature, enabled by the new “Reassign Testimonial” permission found under Testimonials: Moderator permissions.

With this permission, you can:

1) Reassign a Single Testimonial:​

On the testimonial page, simply select the option to reassign testimonial. Here’s an example of how it works:

2) Bulk Reassign Testimonials:​

Use inline moderation to reassign multiple testimonials at once for even greater flexibility:

Additionally, we’ve implemented two-way notifications. Both the previous and the new owner will receive an alert and a push notification about the reassignment.
