A new update is available for Online Time Tracker by XenCustomize.
This update introduces the new Members recently online widget, giving communities a flexible way to show members who were recently online or had tracked online time during a selected period.
The widget includes multiple display styles, optional online time details, privacy-aware visibility, compact scrolling for longer member lists, and optional activity summaries. It is automatically added to the forum list sidebar on fresh installations and when upgrading to v2.2.5.

- Added a new native XenForo Members recently online widget.
- Choose between members recently online or members who were online during a selected tracked period.
- Recently online members can be displayed based on a configurable number of hours or days.
- Tracked periods include today, the last 3 days, the last 7 days, or the last 30 days.
- Set the maximum number of members to display.
- Choose from three display styles: avatars only, usernames only, or avatars and details.
- The detailed display can optionally show last activity, online time today, and total online time.
- Individual online time respects existing member privacy settings and viewing permissions.
- Optionally limit the widget height with scrolling to keep longer member lists compact.
- Optional footer summaries can show tracked members or total online time for the selected period.
- The widget is automatically added to the forum list sidebar on fresh installations and upgrades to v2.2.5.
Compatibility & Notes
- XenCustomize Core Library 1.0.2 or newer is required. Core Library 1.0.3 or newer is recommended.
- Existing Online Time Tracker settings, statistics, and tracked data continue to work as before.
Upgrade Note
- All addon files must be overwritten during the upgrade.
- After upgrading, the new Members recently online widget will be automatically added to the forum list sidebar and can be customized or repositioned from XenForo's widget settings.

- Disable your existing Time Spent Online add-on
→ Go to Admin CP > Add-ons and click Disable.- Do NOT uninstall or delete the old add-on (this would remove your data).
- Upload the new files for Online Time Tracker 2.2.0.
- Install the new Online Time Tracker 2.2.0 add-on — the installer will automatically migrate all your existing user time data.
- Confirm the new Online Time Tracker addon is showing your existing online time data.
- Finally Uninstall and delete the old Time Spent Online add-on.
- The add-on has been officially rebranded from "XenCustomize Time Spent Online" to "XenCustomize Online Time Tracker".
- Existing data from previous versions will be automatically migrated during the upgrade process. No manual steps required.

This major update introduces MaxMind GeoIP2 support, replacing the outdated manual Location field with automated country-based tracking. Now, country-based time spent statistics are more accurate and reliable. (Suggested by @PhineasD @Recep Baltaş @Enes3078)
For users migrating from [Yugensoft] Time Spent Online, the system will automatically transfer existing time spent data, ensuring a seamless transition.
Additionally, we’ve performed code optimizations and refactoring to enhance performance.

MaxMind GeoIP2 Integration
- The addon now uses MaxMind GeoIP2 for accurate country-based time spent tracking.
- Previously, location tracking relied on the user’s manually entered Location field, which has been removed.
- This update ensures automated and precise geolocation data collection.
- Users' country data is now stored in a dedicated column in the user table.
- If Yugensoft Time Spent Online is installed, its time spent data will be automatically migrated.

- Due to changes in the admin option "Time Spent Statistics" > "Time Spent by Country", this option will be unchecked after the upgrade, disabling the Time Spent by Country section on the Time Spent Statistics Dashboard.
