UNSEEN — DESTROY FORUM | Stick figure game: members wreck the page they are reading (desktop & mobil 1.1.0

Members click Destroy and a pixel stick figure lands on the page they are reading. They run and jump across the posts, shoot the letters out of words, blow holes into the page, shatter images and knock boxes off. On a computer or on a phone.

Everything happens on a copy of the page in the player's own browser: the forum itself never changes and no one else sees the ruins.

What it does​

• Letter-precise damage: shoot the M out of HOME and it reads HO E. Loose letters fall and pile up.
• Two weapons: a pistol and a rocket.
• Holes in the page: rocket blasts burn through the page and show a pixel scene behind it, with two backdrops (Night city and Mountains at dusk).
• Images shatter into pieces, and boxes break off and pile up; a piece that comes to rest becomes something to stand on.
• Two stick figure skins: Ink, and Neon, which members earn through XenForo user criteria.
• Sound effects with a mute button, and a pause menu where members change their own game settings.

Phones and tablets​

• Joystick or d-pad: the joystick centres under your thumb; push up to jump, down to drop through a ledge.
• Jump, Fire and Weapon buttons on the other side. Running, jumping and firing work at the same time.
• Touch the page to aim: the shot goes where you touch, and keeps firing while your finger stays down.
• Three control sizes, and the controls on the other side for left-handed players. Members' choices are saved to their account.
• The game's menus fit small screens. A tip suggests turning a phone sideways for more room.

Safe by design​

• The game runs on a script-free copy of the page. Drafts, forms and the live page stay untouched, and leaving the game brings the page back exactly as it was.
• Nothing changes for anyone else. The ruins exist only in the player's browser.
• You decide where it plays: computers with a mouse (with a smallest window width you set) and, if you allow it, phones and tablets with touch controls.
• A slow device switches to light physics on its own.

Keyboard and mouse​

• A / D or the arrow keys: run

For the admin​

• A play permission: when the add-on is installed, members who may post threads get it; guests do not, and you can turn it on for them.
• Choose the pages the game is offered on, and show or hide the Destroy button in the navigation. A Destroy this page widget is included.
• Play on phones and tablets: on by default; turn it off to offer the game on computers only.
• Stick figure size, running speed and jump height (50–200%), light or full physics, sound and starting volume, limits for particles and debris.
• Damage persistence: every game starts fresh, or starting again on the same page in the same tab brings the ruins back.
• Skin unlock conditions with XenForo user criteria. A member who meets them once keeps the skin.
• Members' finished games are checked on the server and raise a code event that other add-ons can reward. You can set a daily limit on recorded games; play itself is never blocked.
• Members can also change their game settings under Account → Preferences.

Languages​

English, plus eleven translations in the package: Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Requirements​

• XenForo 2.3.0 or later, PHP 8.1 or later
• A XenForo licence for the board you install it on
• Players need a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari: on a computer with a keyboard and a mouse, or on a phone or tablet with the touch controls

Licence key, and what is sent​

Enter your licence key under Unseen Destroy → Licence in the admin panel. Nothing is locked without a key or when a check fails; the add-on's own admin pages show a one-line reminder until a key is entered.

• When: only once you have entered a key: when you save it, when you press Check now, and then by a weekly scheduled task (at most once a week). Nothing is sent when you install or uninstall the add-on, and playing the game never contacts our server.
• Where: erkanshi.com, the store you buy the licence from.
• What: your licence key, the product name, a random installation ID created on your board, your board URL and title, the installed versions of the add-on, XenForo and PHP, and a one-time random value that ties the reply to the request.

• €15 + VAT one-off for a permanent licence on one board. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout.
• Six months of updates and support included
• After that, €10 + VAT every 6 months, renewed automatically (first charge 6 months after purchase); cancel any time
• If you stop renewing, the add-on keeps working: nothing is switched off
