Administrators can select the maximum number of cards per row under Setup → Options → XenForo Resource Manager. Responsive layouts automatically use fewer cards when the available width is narrower.
Under Resources → Resource categories → Add/Edit category → Resource features, use Enable resource grid layout to allow or disable Grid on that category's listing. Disabling it forces native List and hides only the Grid/List buttons; moderation and watch controls remain available. Each category is configured independently, including subcategories. Overview, author, and featured listings are unaffected.
Registered users can select List or Grid under Account → Preferences → Default resource display mode. Grid remains the default for existing and new users.
Guests can use the existing Grid and List buttons without registering. Their selection is remembered while browsing resource pages during that browser session; signing in uses their saved member preference.
Administrators can enable or disable the display-control toolbar and enhanced variable-price summary under Appearance → Style properties → [TylerAustin] XFRM Resource Grid.
In that same group, Show resource card bookmarks controls the native bookmark button on all three card styles. It is enabled by default and respects the member's native bookmark permissions; native List remains unchanged.
Show resource card sharing in that same group independently controls the default-on Share button on all three card styles. Resource access is checked by XFRM before serving native sharing data; chooser cards omit sharing, and native List remains unchanged.
Show resource card watch controls in that same group independently controls the default-on Watch/Unwatch button on all three card styles. It follows XFRM's native member and author/team eligibility, omits chooser and non-visible cards, and does not change existing subscriptions when disabled. Native List remains unchanged.
The same group includes Show New resource badge, Show Popular resource badge, and separate badge appearance editors. Popular follows the existing Trending resources widget's ranking, duration, display limit, and category context. Keep the native widget key xfrm_list_trending_resources; if the widget is removed, inactive, or has no results, no Popular badge is shown. The badge does not create or change a widget.
The same group includes Show resource browsing toolbar and Resource browsing toolbar appearance settings for its background, border, radius, padding, and extra styling.
The same Style Properties group includes native editors for card body, category meta, title, minor information, tagline, image height, image cover, and image filter styling.
Select Classic or Showcase with Resource grid card style in that same group; Classic remains the default. Classic resource card elements and Showcase resource card elements control their details independently.
Showcase has separate cover-height and icon-size settings, plus native appearance editors for cards, cover images and backgrounds, icons, content, and footers. Cover images are optional style assets; native resource icons are always used.
Select Modern in Resource grid card style to use the new layout. Modern resource card elements and the Modern appearance properties control its details, covers, icons, content, and footer independently. Use the existing cards-per-row option to select three columns for the reference's wider card proportions.
The add-on adds no public navigation item and creates no separate AdminCP option group.
Change-log lifecycle
Category history is retained when the add-on is disabled or uninstalled. In XenForo 2.3.12, native log search may fail to render those retained category entries once their add-on-owned handler is inactive. This build does not migrate or delete history automatically; a storage redesign and migration require separate approval and real-site validation.
