RPG Framework 1.7.3.02 — FAQ​

Does RPG Framework work on its own?

No. RPG Framework is an extension for Eggy RPG and requires Eggy RPG 1.7.3 or newer to already be installed and working.

What does Framework 1.7.3.02 add?

This release focuses on responsive viewport improvements and World interface refinements, particularly for smaller laptops, constrained browser windows and mobile devices.

What has changed with the RPG workspace?

RPG workspace panels and overlays now make better use of the available viewport height, helping keep important controls accessible when the browser window or device screen is shorter.

Has the RPG interface been redesigned?

No. The release makes targeted usability improvements while preserving the existing Eggy RPG interface and workspace behaviour.

What changed on the World screen?

Travel has been repositioned into the RPG header on desktop and laptop layouts, while Nearby Enemies are presented in a more compact format within the World location information.

Does the Travel change alter how travelling works?

No. The existing travel routes, requirements, costs and locked states remain unchanged. The update changes how Travel is presented and accessed.

Does the Nearby Enemies change alter combat or hunting?

No. The update changes the presentation of nearby enemies only. It does not change the underlying enemy collection, combat or hunt logic.

Are the mobile RPG layouts being replaced?

No. The existing mobile World, Travel and Nearby Enemies presentation remains in place. Framework 1.7.3.02 adds responsive improvements without replacing the established mobile RPG experience.

Will Framework 1.7.3.02 change my RPG gameplay or progress?

No. This release is focused on viewport behaviour, interface usability and World-screen presentation. It does not change established RPG gameplay systems or player progress.

Will Framework continue to receive improvements?

Yes. Framework is intended to provide ongoing stability, responsive usability and quality-of-life improvements for Eggy RPG as further needs and user feedback are identified.
