Give every user a personal attachment library. Reattach lets them browse, search, and reuse past uploads in new posts with one click — no duplicate files on disk — plus reupload to replace
bytes in place and bulk-delete to clean house.

My Attachments page​

A new entry in every user's account sidebar opens their full attachment history — thumbnail grid or list view, search by filename, filter by content type, sort by date / size / name / views,
paginated. Storage summary at the top shows total file count and disk usage per content type.

Editor picker​

A toolbar button on every BB-code editor opens an overlay grid of the user's prior uploads. Selecting one (or several) inserts them into the post as a normal attachment — pointing at the
existing file on disk. No second copy is written. Works in threads, conversations, profile posts, and any other content type with an attachment uploader.

Reupload in place​

Replace the bytes of an existing attachment with a new file of the same extension. Every post that already embedded that attachment instantly shows the updated content — useful for fixing a
typo'd screenshot, updating a chart, or swapping a redacted version in without breaking links.

Cleanup​

Single-click delete with a confirmation overlay that warns when the file is still in use, plus bulk-delete for spring cleaning. Deleting an attachment removes it from every post that
referenced it and frees the underlying disk file.

Admin tools​

• Per-user storage report in the Admin CP — sorts users by disk usage, drills into any user's attachment list
• EXIF stripping option — removes GPS and camera metadata from JPEG uploads
• Content-type whitelists — separately control which content types appear in the manager and which the user is allowed to delete
• Configurable page sizes for the manager page and the editor overlay

Permissions​

• Manage — access the My Attachments page
• Delete — remove own attachments
• Reupload — replace own attachment bytes
• Reuse — insert prior uploads into new posts via the editor
• Manage any — moderator-tier access to any user's attachments

All permissions default to unset — grant explicitly to the groups you trust.
